Product overview

The single-port exhaust valve is used at the highest point on the pipeline or where there is a closed air. It removes the gas in the pipe to clear the pipeline and achieves normal operation. If the exhaust valve is not installed, the liquid flowing in the pipe will generate dynamic heat and cause gas, forming a short circuit. It is easy to make the water out of the pipe fail to meet the requirements. Secondly, when the pipeline is running, there will be a power failure and a negative pressure will appear in the pipeline when the pump is stopped, which will cause the pipeline to vibrate or rupture. There are two connection methods for the single-port exhaust valve, thread and flange.


Working principle

The single-port exhaust valve is mainly composed of valve body, valve, upper cover, valve stem, floating ball, exhaust nozzle, etc. When it is necessary to discharge the gas in the pipeline, the air in the pipeline enters the body cavity under the action of the water pressure, and is discharged from the exhaust nozzle, and then the water in the pipeline fills the body cavity, so that the float is under the action of the buoyancy of the water. Move up to block the exhaust nozzle to achieve self-sealing. When the pipeline is in normal operation, the air in the water is continuously discharged into the upper part of the body cavity of the exhaust valve under the action of pressure, forcing the floating ball to descend and leave the original sealing position. At this time, the air It is discharged from the exhaust nozzle, and then, the floating ball returns to its original position and self-sealing. Therefore, the valve is always open during normal operation of the exhaust valve, the floating ball keeps repeating the above actions, and the air is continuously discharged. When maintenance or cleaning of the body cavity is required, the valve should be closed. Single port exhaust valve, closed when the stem is turned clockwise.
